Sharing a Room (or crib?)

We had friends in town this weekend so we put both our boys in the same room....Laird in his crib, and Finlay on the floor.

Finlay has some interesting going-to-bed habits.  When we leave the room, he always gets out of his bed, walks around, and inevitably ends up falling asleep in front of the door. So, every night, one of us has to bang the door against his body until he wakes up, so we can open the door and put him back in bed...

So, needless to say, we were kind of curious how the sharing the room thing was going to go.
But, we needed to try it because we have some trips coming up where they need to share a room.

I made a little "bed" for Finlay out of blankets, and put Laird in his crib...both awake.  I heard Finlay laughing hysterically at Laird, and Laird giggling back...then I heard crying because Laird was tired & Finlay was mad he was stuck in the room....then I heard Finlay open the closet and pull things out....

Then I heard quiet....

And THEN I heard Finlay whispering "Laird, wake up! wake up!".

This caught my interest :)

So, I peeked in the door, only to find Finlay IN Laird's crib, with about 5 or 6 books & toys.  Finlay was sitting up reading a book telling Laird to "wake up!".....and Laird was lying on his stomach 2 inches away, fast asleep.

Gotta love both those boys... and their very different personalities.
