My sweet friend & neighbor, Liz, brought over this bag of Ploye mix for me the other weekend. I've never heard of them, but we love them! It's not as thick as a pancake and not as thin as a crepe, you only cook it on one side, and it's made from Buckwheat. Her family is associated with the makers of this mix, and we're pretty thankful for that! We're loving them!
I made Peanut Butter & Jelly ployes for lunch the other day. Thought we'd be really radical and make PB & J ployes instead of PB & J sandwiches!
Finlay loves them!
I've also made ployes for breakfast and put peanut butter, honey, granola, and bananas inside.
And I might as well confess that I've made them for dessert too :) Those had berries, chocolate sauce, and homemade whipped cream.
Maybe I should have taken pictures of those!
Go buy some Ploye mix. They're delicious!
