She was supposed to show up around 1:00 when the boys took their nap, but she never showed. So I was stuck with putting the toys away, clearing & cleaning the countertops, emptying & reloading the dishwasher, folding & recycling the Trader Joe's bags, and sweeping the floors (The floors, Oh the floors!)
I rescheduled her for the next day, when Finlay's watercolor painting turned into "no painting" but instead just "watering" the paper, then tearing it up into tiny, wet, mushy, pieces of a Highlights Magazine.....and guess what, she stood me up AGAIN...
Sure hope your maid is more reliable than mine :)
