We were tired of the step down into the grass, the gigantic flower beds on either side of the yard that created a "river" down the center every time it rained. We were tired of the mud & lack of grass, and the fact that Finlay never used the little backyard that we did have.
A handsome hard-working man and 60 bucks later (of sod), and we've got a new backyard!
Ok, so it's not the 2 acres of land with the Christmas Tree Farm behind the house, the privately owned woods to the left, and the pond at the bottom of the driveway that I grew up with....but nobody (especially Josh ) needs to be reminded of my perfectly blissful childhood :)
This, my friends, is a perfectly blissful backyard remodel!
